Juliet Loveland

Juliet Loveland always knew from a young age she wanted to be a make-up artist. She loves working whether as a Department Head, Key or on a team working with fellow make-up artists, on film, television, commercial or print sets.

She first got her professional training in 1987 Boston, by becoming certified as a Esthetician and Make-up artist. She very quickly became in high demand working in a facial spa, before being recruited to be a manager for Yves Saint Laurent Cosmetics, then an account representative for Christian Dior Cosmetics. Juliet became known for not only her business skills with make-up but also her flawless make-up application talent and was hired by Super Model Niki Taylor’s manager Jean Renard to work on editorial and commercial assignments.

Looking to continuously extend her skill set, Juliet went back to school in the early 1990’s to study Special Make-up FX in Florida so she could move on to doing make-up for film and television which had become her passion.

Juliet Loveland joined Union Local 798 for Make-up New York N.Y. in 1993, and shortly thereafter moved to California and joined Union Local 706 for Make-up LA.CA.

Juliet worked for 20 years there on many productions one in which included 3 time Academy Award Winning Kirk Douglas who wrote, “She is terrific. Of course she knows her job and is an excellent make-up artist, but more than that, she was so comfortable to work with. Never Intruding, she was always there when you needed her with a pleasant personality. I cannot recommend her highly enough.”

After becoming a mother of two children, Juliet took time out to teach her craft for 8 years at one of the leading make-up schools in the industry in Burbank CA. Many of her former students credit her for their inspiration and success as a make-up artist to this day. Leaving teaching behind, Juliet now resides back on the East Coast where she continues to work all around the country and internationally as a make-up artist for Film, Television , Commercial, and Print. She is a Local 798 District 3 including MA, RI, NH, VT, CT, ME. Juliet is a Certified Nurse Assistant and is certified in CPR.
